Netball: Phoenix Defeats St. George’s
A Bermuda Netball Association Senior League make-up match took place, with Phoenix defeating St. George’s 53 – 15.
Danielle Raynor led Phoenix to victory with 34 goals, co-MVP and best attacker Eshe Grant added 16 goals, and Sydney Santos scored three times. Co-MVP Chelzea Somner was also named the team’s best defender alongside Kiantae Lightbourne.
St. George’s got 7 goals from Druw Bascome, Kristin Holman added 5 goals, and best attacker Hailey Smith added 3 goals, Tina Wall was named the team’s MVP, with Shawnae Brangman named the team’s best defender.
