Daley Wins Bronze In Ontario Swimming Event
Elijah Daley began competing in the 2024 Winter Ontario Swimming Championships, earning a bronze medal on the first day.
During the 100m backstroke preliminaries, Daley clocked the sixth fastest time of 1:00.30 to advance to the final. In the final, he finished sixth by touching the wall in a time of 59.79.
Daley finished 12th in the 100m breaststroke preliminaries, clocking a time of 1:07.63.
He then advanced to the 200m butterfly finals after clocking the fourth fastest preliminary time of 2:07.81. In the final, Daley won the bronze medal with a time of 2:04.50.
