American tennis player Coco Gauff was knocked out of the French Open quarterfinals by Iga Świątek, the woman she lost to in last year’s finals. Świątek will now face No. 14-seed Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil, who earlier Wednesday became the first Brazilian woman to advance to a Grand Slam semifinal since 1968.
